Since 24th. of Nov. will be like the day before Christmas to GranTurismo fans it's a perfect early release date, not to mention but I will anyway it's Jeff Gordon's NASCAR #24 who is still to me the fastest best driver next to me hahaha.

Well, past almost 6 years of development! We expect not the best racing game, but the only game that it will provide the real simulating experience ever! I pre-order the standard version ;-) For those people who loves real racing game, GT5 is the only way!!!!

This game is perfect for: casual gamers

This is by far the worst racing game I think I have played to date. I JUST got this game today after hearing soooooo many good things about it. Well there isn't anything good about it. Granted this is my opinion, but believe me, I have played better racing games. To start my rant of strong, lets look at the what makes this game bad... It took TWO HOURS to install everything needed just to play... First you have to install the game, then there were 4 updates & then it installed another 8GB of content! Secondly, there is just so many things to keep track of & do, it just overwhelms you! I love simplicity & that is something this game does not give you. The graphics were not very good either. I mean honestly, I have seen some games here recently that look just about REAL & this makes me think of my days as a kid in the 90's hoping into an Arcade booth to play a cheap racing game for 2 tokens... Also the audio was to laugh at! COMPLETELY generic sounds & the cars audio sounds like something from NES! If you are looking for a good racing game, this is not it! Again this is just my opinion, but I have been playing racing games since I could walk & talk! Used to visit arcades just about every weekend & I have owned just about every system since my Aunt gave me her NES when I was 5! Since then I have played A LOT of racing games... If you want a good racing game, check out The Forza Motorsport Series on Xbox 360. I would easily give that series a 10/10!!!!! If you don't have an Xbox, give this game a try & see if you like it. I personally did not, but I can't speak for everyone.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers

Its a very good game. But its bad that there is only 18 racing modifications. And there is lots of cars that are in the millions. I really dont like the levels you have to be in to get a car because I had more than enough to get a car (like the Dodge Viper ACR) but you had to be on a certin level. I think that Gran Turismo 5 is better than Gran Turismo 4 by a little bit. The graphics are great and the sound is super. I dont think they should have added B Spec mode because it takes FOREVER to do one race like 10 laps! So if you dont like leveling up you should not get this game.

This game is perfect for: kid gamers

Been a huge GT fan for a long time - GT always had the best music, the most cars and the most customization options and usable interface. It seems in the outrageously long time it took them to take this dump they've forgotten that the majority of their consumers live outside of japan. So the only cars you'll find in this game are the poorly rendered counterparts of cars none of the players will ever own. Summary: the opening video is of a Toyota Prius being built - enough said.

That is because the creator of the game is from Asia, not America or Europe. That is why there's way more Asian cars in the game.

Are you sure you are not just playing the demo version of this game? Some of the best cars in the world are on this game. If you can actually listen to music and race at the same time, then more power to you and if you dont like the music, you can add your own. There is also a lot more than just one video of a Prius being built. Some videos are actually pretty cool. I dont think you have gotton very far in this game.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers

First off this game is a track recing, simulation game. this is not like need for speed. its for more serious gamers that want to race real people all around the world. now like most people say the sound could be a little beter(but hey isnt that what surround sound is for) an i would like there to be a cockpit view in all the cars but there has to be compromise somewhere. also the way of getting money takes away form the lasting appeal and fter you finish a long championship you dont realy want to play anymore. another draw back is all the cars you have to get once you unlock the profesional and expert series, but that comes with most all racing games.i like the fact that there is over 1100 cars to choose from. some may say "why have so many cars" but be real, your not gonna own EVERY car in the game. the graphics are top of the line (but i guess that comes with having a ps3 :P) people talk about the fact that they dont like that you can tune your car, simple solution, dont tune your car. its nt that hard to win if your a good driver. im not saying that im the best by any means im just saying that i can hold my own. i ave also played forza motor sports and it dosent come close. really the ony thing that it scores better in is sound.i would say tat i play this game the most out of me 19 game colection which includes popular titles like mw 1,2,and3 , assassins creed revlations, uncharted 2 and 3 and driver san fran. bottom line if you want a real racing sim game get this one, if not then get midnite club or test drive unlimited2. i would put this game in the running for best game of all time and it is defenaty best of 2012.

i love this game because of the graphics, the cars and the cockpit view of all the cars even the standard ones, the weather and time of day changeability and the usage of ur own personal music tracks but there are some things i don't like about this game. for instance, in bspec mode, u can't fast forward the races as in the previous one, can only have up to 20,000,000 credits and u can't sell any car online above 20,000,000, and the fewer places in photo travel. overall, i think that this is a great game and i will recommend it to anyone who is into racing.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers

It all started when I bought GT3 for the PS2. and ever since then i've been hooked on Grand Turismo. I bought GT4 when it came out but it wasn't as good as GT3. but when GT came out I was really excited. There are over 1000 cars and lots of tracks. You can even make your own tracks. But it's not really good. When I heard you could make your own tracks I was excited. And knowing that it's GT5 I was thinking they would give a little more to offer. But anyway the graphics in this game are unbelievable when I went tot the cockpit view it was like I was driving myself. But my only complaint is that gt mode is really tough to get by. first of all you need to buy all sorts of cars to meet the requirments for some of the tournaments and that is rough plus b spec mode is dumb because your a crew chief and can't drive the car. but overall GT5 is the best racing/simulater gamei've seen.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers

I got GT5 when it came out and i'm still learning new things on it all the time. I recently found out how to tune my old school Chevelle SS 454 '70 muscle car to go 0-60 in under 3 seconds, and it does the 1/4 mile in 10.4 seconds. From NASCAR to go karts and everything in between. GT5 has it all, Rally, Drag, Drift. Since back when I first bought GT5 I've purchased a lot of great games (MW3,Battlefield BC2, Skyrim, Fight Night Champion), but i still play GT5 more than any of them. It' my pick for game of the year and maybe all time.
